NotR Strategy suggestions

In a few days I will also have the NotR with the translation mod. Normally I'm one of them anwerring questions but this time I have some questions myself.

With the addon everything will be tougher, stronger, cost more Lp etc. There are also more bonusses. What is the best thing to do? I'd like to be prepared.
1) Save the bonusses untill one of the last chapters. The bonus will be relatively larger in that case, because to learn the same amount will cost now say 3-5 times more than when you're a lower level.
2) Use the bonusses when you get them, because at a low level you don't have decent equipment yet, etc so you can use everything to get stronger.

Save the bonuses. You train to a certain level, and THEN use the bonuses to boost the rest of the way. Otherwise it's impossible to get high skillevels. It's the only real way to go. Save any stone tablets you find untill you're done with that skill, and then use'em. For instance, if you need 2H weapon, you first train to about 75%, and THEN use stone tablets/book of 2H fighting the rest of the way, because the last 25% will cost you 85 skillpoints!

Don't EVER bother to put skillpoints into anything that costs more than 4 skillpoints per level(after you reach 90). If you need something very high, train it up till 94(by having 89, and then using a +5 bonus spending 15 skillpoints to 94), and then use boosts from there.

I've just played through it twice with the add-on, and the first time I really screwed up by not saving the bonuses. The second time I used a magician, and got a lot of mana, dex(the new dex based 1H weapons are great for magicians), and master 1H weapon, because I used the bonuses afterwards.
