How fast did you complete Gothic 2? |
|
I tried to run through Gothic 2 with a quick finish in mind and completed it at 4 hours 47 minutes recorded time, ofcourse without cheating or exploiting bugs. Has anyone managed to do it quicker?
Roughly my strategy was becoming paladin and just avoiding enemies until I recieved the holy arrow. Mind you I finished the game twice before. It cannot be done without use of prior experience and knowledge of where to find herbs. |

when I play games, I have a compleatly diffefent point of view on what is fun to do. I like to do as much as possible to see how much experience I can get... _________________ Starwich

i think non of the rpg's are fun to rush trough as fast as possible, especially not with Gothic, it's just the fun to explore and take your time.
find hidden caves, doors... new quests.
that's why you can also choose your own way, so that you can replay it, and find other hidden things.
solution (my opinion): take your time for a good game. _________________ Always wondering how it would be... |

I wonder if similar claims are made on how fast he can get the job done in bed (or even if he's had the chance to time it)...
Just a joke, no WARS please!!! |

If you want to be fast, try Need for Speed.
If you want to play Gothic II or similar RPGs, calm yourself! _________________ When my work is finished I'm coming back for you! |

If I go straight to the head quest only. I could play it in like 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 hours. My new record (with alot of small quests) is now 2 days. (not 24/24 hour of course, schooldays). Well it's not my style anyways to do it as fast as I can. _________________ *Pum pum pum pum...* |

I don't think the topic creator (harrymerc) cares if you think Gothic isn't the type of game you rush through. He was just asking for recorded times of how long it took for game completion.
As of now, I have yet to finish the game. And I will have a time far longer than 4 hours. _________________ (-[ApoK Forever]-) |

Was just wondering...how will you become able to kill a group of 4 orc elites include the colonell when you rush through the game in only 4 hours?
I doubt many of the side-quests are undone and there must still be a bounch of monsters whom still live |
