Hello,
I'm desperately trying to find a place that
will be selling Gothic in Perth Australia.
Anyone know who the distributer is, or who
will have it in stock? |

Isn't the international distributor JoWood, other than in the US?

Are they going to have to do new language files for Gothic Austrailia? "I'm Diego mate!", Instead of Meatbug Ragoo, Meatbug on the barbie!

Thanks guys, I'll see what I can find
out about Jowood. I have asked all the other
major PC games sellers and none of them have
heard of Gothic.
A bit sad to see such a great game receive
so little marketing! |

The Australian publisher is also Xicat!
The nonexisting marketing in your country could simply indicate they plan to release Gothic later and concentrate only on the US release now. |

Xicat, is this true will you be releasing
later in Australia?
I would love to write to you directly and
ask, but your website has no contact
email addresses.
I am fed up with delayed releases in Australia! I know delay the release until
morrowind or dungeon siege comes out and
loose half your sales! As far as I am
concerned delayed releases only cause
a downturn in sales. |

No Offense, but i wouldn't have Australia on my list for big places to sell games to first. I know what u mean though, it would suck *&^ to have to wait more months after the games are released in the US etc |

Offense taken!
Australia has an excellent gamers market.
Just cos we have great weather here doesn't
mean we don't play computer games.

Gorath is right on the money…Xicat is the publisher for quite a few places. That’s how I found this place. Amazon.com > Xicat > Pirana-Bytes (English ver.) > Gothic web site (again English ver.) > RGPDot. You can pre-order from here (don’t know shipping policy) or Amazon.com (what I did).

Aye, Gothic is being distributed in Australia. My local store in the city centre, Berlin Wall, has it listed in their website (www.berlinwall.com.au) as coming out on Nov 15 (well, last I checked). I'm not sure if Berlin Wall is all around Australia or just in Adelaide though.
Even if it wasn't being distributed here, there's nothing to worry about. E-bay, Amazon, etc. all deliver down here.
