How do you fix the broken bridge and get to the six bough. Because I have been trying everything i could think of and have not found any rope or boards.

On the second bough:
Go to the fountain and into the sanctuary next to it. Against the back wall is a lizard head picture with vines hanging down in front of it. You need to click on the vines to grab both sections of them and place them in your inventory to use later.
Now on the fifth bough:
Heading north will take you to a broken section of the bridge. If you merge the two pieces of vine together that you got at the sanctuary. Take that and click on the broken bridge to repair it and head on to the Rattkin tree.

I had the same problem with my second party. I think you just have to use the two merged parts of the vines at the right spot. I tried it several times and it worked!

So don't give up and try again!

Do not forget that one piece is not enough. You need merge to pieces.
But I suppose that you already did it.
