"So here is an unofficial statement for my diary: Some voice actors bailed out (but we have substitutes already) and the compatibility test have been postponed a bit, but this is only a minor delay. The game is nearly done and will go gold in october. Honestly! "

Going gold soon doesn´t necessarily mean the publisher will ship earlier than planned.

That is true, but I'm very optimistic and I belive JoWood will ship the game as soon as possible. They just must do so, for their own sake

And I think they don't plan to release demo of any kind...

thx 4 the info Jaz  i'm not an expert on computers but mine is a pentium 4 so i think Gothic 2 will run great on it. Otherwise i'll have to bug my parents 2 buy a new computer  |

It's not QUITE finished, but there very close i think they just need to finish up the voices i think, so they can't get out a demo just yet |
