Found a way into the upper quarter. |
|
I dont recall seeing this appoligies if it has been posted
Anyway playing around I found away to the upper quarter.
First you need to buy the Transform to ShadowBeast scroll from Ingaz.
Then climb up on Harrod's roof then to Corrigans pub, there is a high point of his roof near where Vatras chants/stands.
You need to wait till late night so when you transform you wont get attacked by the NPCs.
Then time the ShadowBeast jump/hops so that you leave that high point just as you jump (you could pratcie in the forest) and land on roof above Vatras
From there it is no problem to hop up to the top of the wall and over.
Now to find a way back that is legit as well |

Maybe you could also use a lurker spell. They seem very slow and dumb but they can jump remarkably far.
Very nice trick! _________________ "Who are we to call this planet Earth, when it's clearly Ocean."

Wow! I think this is probably the most creative method I have ever heard of to gain access to the upper quarter. Congrats! _________________ "The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned." Isaiah 9:2 |

Sounds like real fun imagine a shadowbeast jumping the roofs like St. Nicolas´ horse (or whatever he is called in english) _________________ If you can't debate without namecalling then don't bother visiting us. -Myrthos |

Hehe, I actually bought all of Ingas's scrolls of transform and tried them all till I got it with ShadowBeast, thou I did not try BloodFly (no access yet) which im sure you could do it with.
Turns out that it is no problem getting back out the same wall is cappable of being reached from the ground on the side of the Upper Quarter.
Not sure if this is a bug or not but did anyone notice that once a NPC/citizen sees you as a beast they will still attack you once you have transformed back, which is really wierd. |

I had that problem too. If you can transform out of sight of any people, although this did not always solve the problem for me. _________________ "The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned." Isaiah 9:2 |

Of course they will. You d*mn shadowbeast! Do you really think you can hide from me by dressing up like a human with a weird ponytail. No way! _________________ "Who are we to call this planet Earth, when it's clearly Ocean."

I actually think I found a second way in.
Just below the Stone Circle on Lobarts Farm is a ledge where you find 2 giant rats.
From that ledge looks like a ShadowBeast could easily make the jump, thou I did not have a scroll to test.
It actually lands you in a hidden back alley (ish) type area, with only the Judges guard near to see you, if you ran to far out.
Also it seems a BlooeFly could make it easily as well especially if you take off from the level above with the Stone Circle. |

That sounds like a great idea! Very creative ... would it work, or would the guards know that *you* cast the summon spell? _________________ =Member of The Nonflamers' Guild=
