I just finish'd the game with a lvl 41 merc with 100% bow and 1H
But was'int there suppose to be a really great 2H for merc's ??
Really great as in "the games best 2H'er" !? |

I think that as merc, you can get the best 2H (and maybe 1H too) weapon in the game. You can even smith it yourself if you are good at smithing. It is called something like Dragon slayer.
I haven't got it myself, byt I have heard it on this forum. |

I might add that I found 2 good swords in chap.2
Orc slayer (65 1H) and Dragon slicer (80 2H)
but is that it ? .. Ant there more and better ones ??
... It smells like forching  !?! |

Don't know, if you can get them from someone (maybe that smith in Onar's farm?) but you can make them if you have enough ore and dragon's blood. If I get it right, it requires about 110 strength... |

I had about 20 ore and 12 dragonblood
what else do I need forching.... and perhaps magic forching to ..or what ? 
and plz tell the stats on it... |

if you read the almanac in the monastary you will know how make it or learn it from bennet
you need a glowing steel, 5 magic ore and 5 dragonblood
damage: 110
needed strength: 100
value: 2400 gold

you can also learn the one handed Dragon Slayer sword...it's stats are like 90 Strength needed, and I think it is 100 damage. I learned it from Bennet. (needs 4 ore and 5 dragon blood). |

So. if it needs 5 dragon bood, it means that you must kill all 5 dragons to have it forged? |

the 1h dragonslayer needs as said
a glowing steel, 4 magic ore, 5 dragonblood
damage: 90
needed strength: 80
value: 2200 gold
there are 5 dragons in the game from wich you get always 2 ampules with dragonblood so there is really no problem to forge those weapons

OH NO!!!! I'VE SOLD THEM ALL TO THE SMITH IN THE CASTLE IN THE VALLEY OF MINES !!!! 
Is it any way to get them back ???

you can only forge this swords if you play as merc/dragonhunter
and as much as i know you can sell dragonblood only to jan if you play as paladin or mage
yeahh how would it be to beat him and use a scroll to make him forget

So what I basicly need (I'v allready read the book) is to use 10 skillpoints on forging and magic forging right ? then I would be able to make that monster of a 2H !!
and 15 points if I wonted to make the 1H
... Question : Is the purple ore - magic ore ?

well as i remember if you read the almanac you can forge those swords and havent got to learn it from bennet but if im wrong each sword will cost you 5 LP to learn and if you havent learned yet to forge weapons it will cost you 5 lp extra
yes the purple ore is the magic ore
edit:
i checked it out five minutes ago i wasnt wrong if you read the almanac you learn automatically how to forge those two weapons even if you dont learned basic forging and forging of magic weapons so it will cost you 0 LP!!!!

I already killed the dragons without taking out the blood. Any chance to learn the skill (take out the blood) and "visit" their corpses ? |
