Hey I've played the palidan and finished the game easily at lvl 30...But I played as a warrior in the first game so I knew what skillz to use...but I want to play the game to it's fullest and it says mages are for advanced players....but I just want to know what stats/skills I should give him...could someone please help ? I've seen people go sword/mage, bow/mage, and archer/mage....Could someone tell me which is better please ?

A mage with some sword skills is quite useful, more so than one with a missile weapon skill - mainly because mages have distance weapons (destructive spells) anyway, but nearly no chance in close combat unless they have a little bit of swordsmanship training.

moustly it's up to your style of play,when you drain your mana would you like to stuf your enemy with arows or fight with sword but what ever you do train your secondary skill's before you enter mage guild because then it will cost you double |
