G.R.R Martin has probably broken through as being my favourite author for fantasy literature now. G.G Kay a distant second. And Feist in third place.

I still admire the authors from the golden age of SF ..... I.Asimov, A.Clarke etc. An honourable mention to Alastair Reynolds in the new wave.
