Occasional playing of an RPG is a contradiction in terms.
And yet, they are there and most of them aren't playing Gothic, because they find it too hard (especially the first hours, and they don't play it anymore after those first hours)
Ya know…I don’t think I know anybody that bought Gothic and didn’t play it all the way through. I’m sure, as you said, there are people who have, I just haven’t met any…
I didn't even met anybody who actually knows Gothic, except for the people here on the dot. I think the only Dutch people who know Gothic are on either the RPGdot forums or Jowood's. Probably like 10 or something. _________________ "Who are we to call this planet Earth, when it's clearly Ocean."

Well…to tell you the truth, the only one I know that plays Gothic is me. And you know why that is?
Because no one in the States even knows the games exist!!
And I’m an ol’ fart that still plays games… _________________ "That one hurt..."

My point exactly!
For the few remaining people that even care if an english version is released they are sure going through a lot of trouble relative to the results.
Pump that effort/money/time into G3 so it is a bit better/earlier or whatever.
Timeliness is so key when releasing videogames now, it is one of the main factors that will determine sales. That and good marketing of course.
All well, it has all been said before and ultimately opinions are like asses if you know what I mean.
