Where do dragons come from?

I was surprised to see in the video, when they recall what happened in Gothic 1, a dragon.
But if i remember well there was no dragon in the first episode.
So anyone knows where there are supposed to come from.
No reply permitted if the reason is to much plot related.

The dragons have a important role in G2 so probably answering your question is plot related

I think the dragons come from an evil demon or something

So it seems they are (evil?) creature being invoked by other creature/human.
The schema is demon-like.
It's opposed to the dragon being earth-creature. Which appeared thousands of years before humans.[/list]
