Addon? You got an Addon? Where'd you get that? I want one too <stamps foot> WTF's a Hotfix?
Never even heard of Zanzarah, or Geneforge (sounds scifi to me)

Well, didn't Arx Fatalis come out last year? And I can hardly say that Enclave is an RPG, if that is right, then Leagcy of Kain : Defiance, and Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness are also RPGs.
The best RPGs of this year are :
1 - Temple of Elemental Evil
2 - Lionheart
3 - Gothic 2 + die Nachts die Raben exp.
4 - SW - KoToR, as it is coming out in december, or november i'm not sure
5 - Lionheart
6 - TES 3 - Bloodmoon, the latest exp for the Morrowind
7 - NwN - Shadows of Undrentine + Hordes of the Underdark, as they are exp. for the not so good in my opinion NwN

Arx might have come out last year (like Gothic II), but I played it only this year, so it's my 2003 pick.

1-Enclave is NOT an RPG. But it's a good game... If it didn't have those too nude textures, I'd say that it's great.
2-I think Mistmare had a very good potential. Didn't play it for long, but it's not bad.
3-Didn't play a lot of new games this year, but as I played Morrowind & it's expansions only this year, I'd say that they're cool. Also NWN: SoU is
Good.

@Hoyp: Iagree with him(I never played either of gothics)

@Hexy: I'll take 50% of the money...

I couldn't get Lionheart to work I got to the end of the intro and not only did it keep crashing it shut my entire system down and I couldn't turn it back on for about 5 minutes. Turned it right off at the power supply I dunno what's wrong. Uninstalled reinstalled, same thing. In the end I just used the CD as a coaster.

Yep, I would hesitate to call Enclave an RPG. However, I too think it is a good game. What impressed me the most about it was the impeccable character models and fluid animation. It was just an exceedingly pretty game to play.

That and the over-the-top Wagnerish music. I ate it up.

Sherrin - you are funny.

HiddenX - I am D/L ing the Zanzarah demo now to try it out. It seems very "girlish" but I'll given it a shot based on your endorsement.

About Enclave: I liked the Models, but the almost nude textures made me not play the game a lot. And the system which gives you new chars from time to time is cool.

Well, Ialsothink that Enclave is a very goodgame, but what it missed in myopinion, was that it could have been an RPG, but it turned out that it wasn't, and has a lot of un-realized pottential by its creators, and I certainly hope to get some leveling up in its 2-nd part.
Lionheart was one of the few games I played this year, and Ihope for it that there will be a 2-nd part to it, andit willbe more like this part in Barcelona, which was the best part of it, and fell like playing Shadows of Amn again.

Unreal 2 demo gets my vote. Followed by Yatzee. Then ToEE. I also think Justin Timberlake is hot.

Uh... I actually don't believe that Enclave is an RPG, it was just as way to show people how bad Gothic 2 is.

@ Gorath. Yes, I'm going to try. The trouble is, I bought it about 2 & 1/2 months ago - just as my PC broke down and was at the Techie's for about 8 weeks. When I got my PC back I was playing another game on my PS2, so when I came to actually play Lionheart all that time has elapsed and I'm not sure if they'll replace it for me. I'm going to try on Thursday when I go thru to where I bought it from (the shop's an hour's drive away - in the 'city', lol). If not they'll get to see one of my 'performances' and, believe me, that's not a pretty sight, lol.
I'll keep you posted.
