Here is a quotation from JemyM:
quote:
With this "bone bow" early in the game you can advance in
levels very quickly. The bow requires 18 in dexterity, wich you should
have by now if you followed my earlier tips.
* WARNING *
Be VERY sure that none of the templars OR named NPC's die in
this fight. It will make it impossible to finish the game!
* END OF WARNING *
Is it ANY templar or only named templars? And explain why. |

You need the help of some of the templars later on in the game.
Just make sure nobody dies when you lure the minecrawlers. |

We need only 2 named templars in the quest for the microcrawlers' eggs. So, if one of the unnamed templar die, it shouldn't cause any harm to the game. I need to tell you that I played the games several times. But thanks for the reply.
Any other opinion? |

@kingsorel,
"any other opinion" you say, o.k,
Using the stealth method, i usually kill the mine crawlers 0ne-by-one, never fails, then if you can, get Gornabar, Gornakosh and Gornavid, (one of them needs a drink) then, because you get the exp' points, why not have the three?- - its easier and they don't get killed, you could let them do all the work and just wait until they have cleaned-up, but i must admit, i like to dive-in and give them a hand.
Only a newbie would make-do with the bone bow, better bows can be had before facing the minecrawlers. |

Well i've just played this scene again several times and sure enough with only two templars, one of them got killed, but with the three templars together, never once did any of them get killed, and also the guards helped out with their crossbows while i just stood back and watched, so i would say this is probably the easiest way of playing this scene. |
