So I finally got the game to work after having to download the patch. And I start playing. I try to pick up something off the ground. Can't pick it up. So I try to climb the ladder. Can't climb the ladder. The game will not recognize when i press a key.
And the documentation on this game is also rotten.

Everything you would like to use mus be active (it is illuminating a little bit).
Readme describes controls unusually in detail.

I cannot pick anything up either. Its as if the game doesnt recognize my action button. Is this a known bug? That sure seems like a pretty huge one.

I just got the full version installed yesterday. The interface seems horrible so far. I can pick things up, but it takes a while occasionally. Sometimes my guy will run forward or try and jump instead of grabbing objects.

Nearly all here (I know - we are fans of this game) will agree that it takes some time to learn controls of this game, but then they are perfectly useful...
