Gothic keeps throwing me to desktop |
|
I want to play Gothic really bad, I've had it for months actually, but had a slower pentium computer that is was sluggish on so I waited until I bought my new computer, the game runs great with settings all the way up and looks fantastic.....however I noticed usually when groups of monsters(sometimes even 1) attack me I get thrown to desktop!!!! arghhhhhh, I've tried switching for 4 speakers to surround, turning reverb off , switching resolutions..etc..still does it
I have
Athlon XP 1900
Visiontek Geforce 4 ti4600 128 mb ram 3d card
ASUS Nforce 415-D motherboard
LIte on CDRW 24x 10x 40x
80 GIG maxtor 7200 rpm hard drive
Lian Li pc65 aluminum case
I never have problems with games like this, please helppppppppppp
thanks |

The normal solution to the mss32.dll error is changing the sound provider to DirectSound HW, turning off reverb and lowering the resolution to 1168 or 1024. |
