Hey, I'm in chapter 4, and in the 4th circle of magic. And unfortunately, I'm not all that versatile as a magician, seeing as I can't find/ buy any more blank runes! I've found one in a chest during the test of fire, and bought 2 off of Gorax sometime before. Can anyone help me to find more blank runes? The sooner the better, because I'm about to go up against the dragons and whatnot. :/ |

Did you get the quests from Fernando and Lutero? They each reward you with a blank rune. Also the escaped digger in VoM in ch 2 Kervo, if you kill the Lurkers he gives you one. Talbin will give you one if you escort him across the pass. Lutero has one to sell later.

Fernando is in jail, so i wont get anything from him i reckon? (when does he get out? He has some book on him i hear)
and Lutero in the upper quarter? He talked about some King Snapper claws.. no which is this??? Ive killed some many snappers but wont get anything. I dont even have it on qurrent quests any longer.. i think i bought runes from him, not sure, but could it be the reason?

Fernando in jail huh? In plain G2 he gives you a quest in ch 2 to report to him on the mining operations in VoM, when you get back he's supposed to give you a rune as reward. How he end up in jail?
Talbin is a hunter sitting in a little closed off area not far from the castle's front gate. There's a goblin cave not far from it. From the goblin cave turn left and keep the cliff to your left and follow it around. He'll want to leave after he finds out his buddy Engrom either dies or goes mad depending on what class you're playing. You find him after that near the abandoned mine entrance.

Lutero will sell a runestone in chapter 5, Gorax sells 2 runsestones in chapter 2 and 1 in chapter 3 and another 1 in chapter 5. You can get a lot more from quests.

well can anyone tell me if there are enough blank runes in the game to create all that you can learn? (e.g circle 1-6?) |

In plain G2 there are about 15 runes. I don't know about NotR.

In the expension pack that is.. i reported him for some naughty business.
Btw, can anyone tell me about Lutero and the Snapper Claws? I have killed Dragon Snappers and ordinary Snappers, without this being it. And when it has vanished from the current quest and are not on failed ones, i dont know what to think. |

When you go to the VoM the first time, and you find Fajeth. He wants you to kill snappers. The king snapper doesn't spawn unless you talk to Bilgot. Once you do that, the pack leader shows up by the ruined watch tower not far from the site.

What chapter are you in? Fajeth was one of the paladins you had to get an ore report from. Bilgot usually sits by a fire nearby. He won't give you the information you ask for unless you promise to help get him out of the VoM. That's in ch 2. In ch 4, they are being attacked by orcs. Their's is the site closer to the swampy pond near Xardas' old tower.

fajeth is the paldin in command on one of the mining site and bilgot is the guy in militia armor sitting near him..

then i met them, the ones who asked me to kill all the snappers? Thought i talked with everyone, can't say anyone asked to get to the pass (this is the expansion pack) and did the King snapper merge when i was killing these snappers?
im in chapter 3, soon 4.
the merchant in upper quarter wanted King Snapper claws.. thats the only thing im sure of |

Pack leader is by himself once he spawns. The main story wasn't supposed to be changed by the add on. Well, if you didn't get the option from Bilgot it might mean a bug.
