Does having your weapon drawn have any effect on gameplay? Do people treat you differently, are there any actions best done without weapon drawn, can you swim faster, etc? Thanks in advance. |

I think NPCs will be more hostile to you. Not sure though. |

Ive played quite a bit and never seen any difference, although I think a mod that made people upset if you ran around with a drawn weapon would be a great idea. *hint* *hint*

it definitely lowers their disposition -- check with a shopkeeper one time. (Disposition WILL go back up once you sheath your weapon). |

I had an interesting experience |
|
I don't know if this relates, but I cleared out a dungeon near Gnaar Mok and the only NPC left was a man on a platform near a bunch of crates. Well, anyways, he didn't attack me so when I went up to him to chat he offered to train. Well, I trained up my athletics about 5 times and after the fifth time he all of a sudden attacked me! I did have my weapon out but I couldn't figure out why he attacked me. |

The disposition of NPCs drops by 5 points when you have your weapon out. If it is already low, this may be the trigger for a fight. _________________ Rendelius
