I've killed the black magician and am stuck. What is the Eye of Power? How do I open the huge doors? Or do I have to go back to Khorinis first to settle stuff? _________________ Erb Duchenne |

The magician had a scroll on him. Read it and use the Eye of Power on the door. The Eye is a stone you find in a chest in one of the siderooms to the room with the big door. _________________ Jaz |

If it is any help, I found it in the room to right (as you face them) of the big doors. It is the chest you could not open. _________________ =Member of The Nonflamers' Guild=

I guess my question is, "How do I use the Eye of Power?" I click it on my inventory but nothing happens. _________________ Erb Duchenne |

stand in front of the foors and 'pray' (like doing with a shrine).

Having the Eye Of Power in your inventory is enough - you don't have to put it on or something like that.
Just pick it from the chest, press the action-key while standing in front of the big doors and our hero will kneel down and utter the magic spell to open the doors. _________________ "With sword in hand I now stand on my enemies' land." - Immortal: Beyond The North Waves
Since I've never faced the English version of Gothic or Gothic II, I want to apologize for bumpy translations... |

Thanks everyone. As expected, I stood every other place in front of the door EXCEPT the right spot. At least I knew I was on the right track and continued to find it upon reading your replies.
What an ending! Quite unexpected. Funny. Did the ship sink eventually??? I guess Gothic 3 will answer a lot. _________________ Erb Duchenne |
