Use the activation stone on the golem in the small room just north of the water tanks. The golem will talk about "having no eyes in which to see" and ask about his duties. Activate him and then follow him.

That room with the 2 golems? How do I literally use the activation stone on him? When I talk to either one of them, it gives me no option to ask any questions. |

Neither of those two are the golem your looking for.
Go back south in the hallway and enter the first door on the right. There is a golem you can talk to and some mephits that need killing.

Yeah, those aren't the golems. You're looking for a lone golem in a circular room with a bluish hue.
