Shadows at different settings - how do they look? |
|
If you put real time shadows on 100% and, for example, on 25%...how different do they look?
Is it a really big difference or doesn't it matter that much?
Turning shadows completly off seems to boost your performance but I'd like to have some shadows at least. |

The only difference I have noticed is the shadows that follow your character and the NPC's. It isn't really that impressive an effect to keep on if you need to spare CPU cycles. |

AFAIK, the only difference between 25% shadows and 100% shadows would be seen during the night. |

also 100% shadows sets an shadow for al animals/characters on your screen
25% only 1 or 2 of the NPCS have shadows

Ah I see. So it's the number of shadows and not the actual quality of a shadow.
Yep, I think I got it |
