Yeah, Swearing is a sign of frustration, play some Gothic 2, have a couple of beers, and be cool.

What counts is that JoWooD released a trailer, even though it´s really an old one for G2. So they _are_ marketing the add-on. Maybe they got it back from Atari.
The press releases about their Koch Media deal said that Koch gets the rights for add-ons, gold editions and special editions for various games including G2 for some European countries including the UK. Unfortunately it´s not clear that the agreement talks about all those components for all listed games.

Okay, so this is what one of the guys in the GWJ crew mentioned:

quote:
Ok, I just got back from the JoWood booth. I didn't see the guys you mentioned but they did indeed have the Gothic II expansion on display in english. He said they still hope to do a North American release but their publisher for the original did such a crappy job they're trying to find one who could handle it right. Sounds like a UK version is going to be a lot more likely.

Of course, I guess that booth person probably didn't call it directly a crappy job, but here you go. They haven't given up yet.

I don't know who messed it up with the trailer, but I was really getting my hopes going... At least we now know for sure the English addon in fact exists, although we suspected it all along.

Put this at the news comments, but perhaps it would be fun to put it here too:

I saw the German trailer at Gamershell with this link You see Raven standing over there.(next to his bodyguard)

But that's not an official trailer. It's more like a shaky-cam movie from someone who was on somekind of "German E3"

Seem to be a thing for Jowood this year. The Spellforce: breath of winter trailer
was also nothing more than the intro for The original game

Just saw the trailor. Its nothing amazing as trailors go, but you do get to see the new content, which was nice.

The description clearly says the movie is a camera made clip from the Game Convention.
