| New rule against spamming |
|
We, the moderators, have established a new rule to do something about too much spamming.
Spammers get 1 warning for spamming before any further actions are taken.
At the second warning they loose 20% of their postcont.
At the third warning they loose 50% of their postcount.
At the fourth warning they are reset to 0.
When they drop because of this below 500 posts they also loose their avatar and title and have to reapply once they get above that number.
Every warning will set a timer that will last for one month. Any future warnings given in this time, will lower that persons warning level, reduce the postcount and restarts the timer. If however, within this time no further warnings are given then that person goes up one warning level.
In short it could take a day to drop your postcount to 0, but it takes 4 months for your record to be cleared.
This is not something that will be applied just like that. It is intended to be used for the more notorious spammers, who make a mess of things.

Although I doubt I'm at risk of "spamming," I would like some example posts and defined criteria of what spamming is. |

Why? We have not given example posts or criteria for any of the other rules in the FAQ. There are no criteria or examples given for when people are banned or what criteria there are to warn people for being banned.
It is intended for the notorious spammer who didn't listen upto now after several comments to stop spamming. Then the first warning for spamming is given. As always it's the moderators that decide. If you disaprove of their decision you debate it with the moderator and when that fails as a last resort with me.
That's all the criteria that exist.

When someones postcount is redused or even droped down to zero his/her posts/threads are deleted also???

Just follow the guidelines and spam as much as you can:

Be advised though, that if you get a fifth warning, or have been warned before for whatever reason, you will be banned from the boards. And I'm not sure that's what you want, although your second sig line might suggest otherwise...
