If you are a mage, which runes will you make and in which order?

Forget about most of the low level spells. Fireball and ice block are really all you need. Save the rune stomes for the higher levels.

You can only learn a new circle every new chapter. You should only learn one or two runes from every circle except the last circle because there are not enough blank rune stones in the game. Look in the manual and always choose the most powerful spell rune from each circle, i.e. which do the most amount of damage. Learning one of the healing runes is also recommended than you don't have to bother with healing potions.

u can do 3 spells from every circle i calculated out the rune stones but then u need to find every rune stone u find  20 of em i got u get even 2 free rune stones  |

I didn't make any healing runes, I went for out-and-out attack spells. With the amount of food, herbs and potions you will be carrying around as a mage you wouldn't need a healing rune.

Of course, you don't need a healing rune. But I found using the healing rune more comfortable especial if you are in a tight spot and need the healing quick. The time you need to through you inventary to locate the healing potions you are already dead.

You can change order of your equipment.Just edit your gothic.ini file .You can have potions at the top of equipment |

or u could edit gothic.ini and activate the potion shotcut key, wich is MUCH more comfortable than using a healing rune... |
