I have little problem .
I have some things I want to sell, but when I try to speak with some merchant I can not. It just writes "XXX appears busy".
I tried it in Copper Coronet, I tried it in other parts of town. I really do not know what to do.
My character has charisma 18 (I have ring that cause it).
Any advices what to do. Is this normal or what...?
Please help, I need 20 000 bugs for that guy, so I need to sell (and buy) things.

And one more thing...
Just merchants do not want to speak with me.
With everyone else I can speak.

That's weird. I've never had that happen... it happens with EVERY merchant in the game, all the time?

Sounds like the merchant source file got corrupted or something. A reinstall and patch might be needed. Your save games don't get trashes when you uninstall and reinstall, so there's no harm too it...

It's a really weird error. Are you playing the english version?

I will try reinstall (I have max. install with ToB, so it will be hard work ). We will see if it will help.

Don't forget to get the latest TOB patch. That fixes a bunch of problems...

No problem. I thought it would. It sounded like a bad copy of the merchant dialogue file. The 'such and such appears busy' is really only supposed to pop up during scripted entrances and exits, and in multiplayer.

It appeared after I added several files from Golden edition (or something like that). I downloaded it somewhere. It were two files with two more merchants with some interesting things (I hope it was not piracy). After I did it, this strange bug appeared. But I am not certain if this was reason (but I will not try it again).

Those two vendors are pretty useful. One of them more than the other will save hours of frustration... hm...

I've never heard of them not installing properly.

Although... actually... if you have Throne of Bhaal then the merchants are put into Shadows of Amn automatically. You don't need to go to an outside source.

Scrimp and save and get the Shield of Balduran. It will come in handy no less than a dozen times in the course of the game.
