| cant open the doors to get to akbaa |

Hi all,
Before I start I want to say I have received some great tips from this forum that have helped me get to the end game. Now I'm here and have placed all fives stones on the pedestals, but the door won't open. I tried to pick it, used my key ring on it and looked high and low for a lever. Is it supposed to open as soon as I put all five rocks on the pedestals? Or am I supposed to do something else, like put the rocks on in a certain order? I'm going back, taking them all off and putting them back on in various orders to see if that works. Thanks in advance for any tips.

It's been awhile, but IIRC there is something hidden in the private chambers just outside where you are that you need to open the door. Look around in there very carefully, try to "activate" everything you see.

Yes, it is a little panel you push or pick in the bedroom.
You find his journal and the key, if I recall. |

I've tried to follow the directions given above and nothing works. I already had read the journal and discovered the key hidden in the bedpost. I put the key on my keychain and it does not work opening the door. I think that key was to open the chest in the room anyway. I have all the stones on the pedestals. i tried to "activate" everything in the bedroom but can't find anything I didn't already utilize. What am I missing? |

If you have all 5 stones, then you need to place them on the pillars in the sequence that makes the symbol of akba. If I recall I started at the far right and went from there. May have been from the south farthest from the door. Read your notes you found, remember the things you saw through the game.
I don't remember if you have to simply place them or "use them" on the pillars. (F key). Play with it a bit, you will get it.
