A few Rapax Castle Annoyances

I'm trying to get this all completed, go and kill the nasty witch who enthralled my Gadgeteer (good thing it wasn't my Lord) and go and find the King.

However, there are a couple of things I can't work our.

1. What's with the little box onthe wall that needs a specific item to open it. The walkthrough I have says something about deposit slips. Never found those.

Also, how do I get into the armory? DO I have to Kill the Rapax merchant? He's rather a good merchant, and I'd rather not have to do that.

There are 4 deposit tickets to be found. 3 can be found in the Constable's Office.

Ferro has a real taste for pickled trynnie.
