RPGDot: restrictions to guests

Tuesday, july 2nd we will disable the possibility for guests to post.
The reason for this step is rather simple. There has been too much abuse recently of the guest login feature and this is the only way we have to put a halt to that abuse.
Guests will still be able to read, but will no longer be able to post and vote, which from july 2nd will be reserved for registered users only.
Registration will take approximately 1-2 minutes of your time, if you like to continue posting.

I thought the guest feature was one of the unique and great things about this website. Most if not all other forums require signing in... which is why I never bothered.

But the guest feature here really made me stay. In any case, can't someone just re-register under a different name if he/she is ecer kicked out?

Well, that depends on if the user have a permanent IP.

Of course most guests behaved correctly, but a few idiots can cause a lot of trouble because you simply canīt do anything against them.
