The usefulness of profession association.....

Ok....besides the obvious profession only special moves and attribute differences.....what makes joining a certain profession over a different one better? like if I was a survivor......would I be able to advance my profession's skills at earlier levels? or is it the same for everyone?

As far as skills, it's pretty much the same for everyone. The biggest difference between professions is the rates at which they gain mana, health, offense, defense, and damage. Look here for details.

I really like that in this game you can become nearly everyone and there is no matter what you choosed at beginning.
You can pick up several mages and several survivors abilities and become really powerfull in both of them. This is good thing and makes whole character dovelopement thing really interesting.
