I'm listening to a CD containing all of the songs on Avril Lavigne's CD, Let Go. After that... maybe a bass test or two...

@XeroX, you should try Kitty (gotta love them!), End of green(?), Soulfly, Otep, Dryrot.
Personally, I´m listening to Pouges and various Irish folkmusic, Tom Waits, and a swedish singer named Lars Demian.

How can you know we´ve never heard of them, if you don´t tell us their names? And since we are all openminded people, maybe someone will give them a try, thus you have been a part of their rise to international stardom. Or something.

You should try the original Angst Metal bands, such as:
Ministry
Front Line Assembly
KMFDM
Nine Inch Nails (Broken)
Pantera

I've found the ones you list above to be a little too light and fluffy for my tastes. Not that I really listen to the above anymore anyway.

My answer...

I am generally listening to something like Pink Floyd, The Beatles, etc. Really anything with emotional truth and some actual meaning.

My justment on my resently gotten albums:
Disturbed - Sickness: great
Incubus - Make Yourself: weak, to weak for my taste
Tantric: all right, not that bad. Nice to listen to, not heavy rock.

@Xerox Well since you liked sickness that much i really think you should listen to disturbed's new album, believe. it doesnt catch on as fast as the first one but once youve heard it a few times they are totally awesome.. much like tools albums
