Like piln and Kengo, I like Japanese films a lot. And I have an official excuse to indulge myself since I'm taking Japanese classes.

I read a lot. History, literature, plays, short stories, science, non-fiction, etc. Whatever interests me. (No harlequin romances, though!)

I'm also a very active person. Didn't use to be that way, but I've kicked myself into gear the last few years. Worked on martial arts when I was younger and currently do a bit of weight lifting, ballroom dance (competitive), and jogging.

I also play the piano off and on, haven't ever gotten really good, but one of these I hope to put my mind to it. I'd also like to learn more guitar and maybe the shakuhachi (Japanese flute). I'm welcoming the return of free time and normality to my life ever since I quit working as an undergrad in a scientific research lab. Some hobbies I'd like to pick up again are sculpture (used to do it when I was younger, before I got into college, and I've been longing to pick it up again) and business. I was working until activities at school and research overwhelmed me.
