| Gothic 2 Demo: error at start |
|
Hi you all.
When I start Gothic 2 demo, the screen becomes black, then appears this error message:
"C:zmusic_DM.cpp(zMusicSYS_DirectMusic:Init()) Failed to create perrformance object!"
Any ideas? Thanks
My PC: AthlonGothic 2 Demo: 2400+ XP, 2565 Ram, GeForce 4200 Ti, SoundBlaster Digital 4.1, Windows XP, Direct X 8.1 |

Could be a driver problem. Update your sound card drivers.

Unfortunately my sound card driver are the last ones Sound Balster released. I palyede everal games but this is the first game (demo) not starting  |

You could disable sound in the gothic.ini. If it starts then you know where the problem is.

I tried. And I tried to disable the sound card too. But it did not work. Surely it is an issue related to the sound card. |
