Poll Results and New Poll |
|
Last poll we asked about your console playing habits. Not surprisingly, over 61% of our readers play games exclusively on the PC, followed by 16% playing consoles "Very occasionally" and 12% "Some but more PC". 4.5% found it about even, 4.6% found their console use had started to exceed the PC and a tiny 1.3% play consoles games almost exclusively.

Broadly, that means around 89.5% could be characterised as "more PC" and 5.9% "more console", with a few in the middle. Clearly, our audience is much more interested in the PC but around 39% have some interest in consoles. Back in December 2003 we asked about "Your favourite platform" and got around 96% in favour of the PC - the question is different but the end result looks fairly close.
This time we'll align with the Side Quest and ask about your character creation preferences - hit the poll on the left. |

Morrowind has a full character system, a interactive character creation system, and an archetype character creation system so it would be under three of the catagories and not just the interactive character creation system.
PS. Is there any other game that has an interactive character creation system? (without counting the blank slate ones) |

Forgot about Ultima for the interactive character creation when I posted above. |

Jagged Alliance 2 kinda does, you answer a personality quiz to determine what your two "special traits" are. |

Don't know whether you'd want an option for recruiting a party, ala NWN and MM8. I'd vote against it, but there might be some poor, misguided soul that likes the flexibility to "hire-n-fire" as they see fit. _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

Sorry. No pearls of wisdom in this oyster.
