I wonder if they are males or females who don't have pants on. I'm hoping for females personally.

There is no nudity in Morrowind unlike Daggerfall. Morrowind is supposed to get a Teen rating... But i'm sure some nudity mods will be shortly showing up being as the Development toolkit comes with the game...

Khajiiti and Argonians can be nude, I think.

In the same sense that Chewbacca was nude. Furred and scaled counts as 'clothed'.

Let's continue with facts from the official Morrowind forums:

- Number of words        : 350.000

- Number of words spoken :  50.000 only !!!!! (mostly greetings,
monster yells)

- No nudity

- Lame animations

- No sitting

- No sleeping

- No climbing

- Very lame fighting

....

The people who made those posts on the Morrowind forum are all very
eager to also tell how great this game will be (spell system, graphics,
character creation, huge world ...) and how they love it (is it released
already ?). Nobody there has the balls to really criticize the flaws clearly.

A good example can be found here
, where the poor animation in Morrowind is discussed.

The poster wrote how good the animations of Gothic are and that it
should be possible to have such animations in Morrowind too. He didn't
dare to give it as a fact. Instead he wrapped his essay in two sentences
where he states that Morrowind will be far superior to Gothic.

Isn't it possible that some of these things could be improved or fixed before the game is released? I think it's still some months away from being released.

Well Morrowind is due out in Spring which technically gives them 3 more months to work on it but from hanging out in the morrowind chat room where devs also hang out I get the impression that all they are doing now is bug fixes and testing and maybe some balance tweaking... All the major stuff is finished. So who knows... I could give a rats ass about character animations though. The character creation and roleplaying possiblitys that this game will have is a way more important thing in my book. And from what I can tell It will do that well as some sweet ass graphics...

I'm not about to rush out and buy Morrowmind. I'll wait two or three patches until it's playable, first.

I'm pretty confident that Morrowind will be playable out of the box... BethSoft delayed the game specifically to fine tune gameplay and fix all bugs... When talking to one of the devs in the Morrowind chat room, he said that the number of bugs that were being found had dramtically droped in the last couple of months and I got the impression that release is getting pretty close. Yeah it will need a patch probably at some time like all complex RPG's do. However I don't think that it will be a "buggy" release. One major reason that I don't is that the XBOX version won't be easily patchable and I do not think that they would risk releasing a buggy console game escpecially since this is their first one..

well, I hope you are right Indicium.
But anyway I will have a look myself hopefully on a demo. Many games before had both very bad/good opinions how the game is going to be,way before the game was released, and to many was wrong in both ways!
Wait and play the demo or a beta release before putting up some facts around the game!

I doubt that there will be a demo at all. Acording to Todd Howard they donīt even know how to put it together...just read the interview at http://www.pcgcentral.com/index.php?file=/interviews/morrowind/morrowind

Well, then we have to wait for the real important facts around the game, from the first gamers of the original game, or maybe before also from some beta-testers etc.

Why can't they just make a demo with limited areas to travel to as almost every other openended game do!
