what's this all about? Atari will make the addon dnodr in english, i'm more than sure... is just like when the germans made Gothic, we didn't thaught it will be in english and now it is... just like g2.. Why did they translate the Gothic 2 in inglish if they don't translate the addon in english they're fu###n st###d ... I hope they'l never sell any game except if there's a english Gothic game. If is a matter of money why they don't tell it? We could all donate 100$ or more..because we're fanatics of this game... I'l give them my motorbike if they translate the addon . I think we must catck the boss of atari, beat him until he's almost dead and make him translate the addon himself . Nevertheless... we could hire the specialists witch made the translations and pay them to translate it for us.. ha ha ha Ba#####s

That's Atari's own fault. They released it without any advertising, no wonder nobody knows about it.

No advertising?!? I went to the cinema where I get the intro of Gothic 2. If yo don't call that advertising, ... . They didn't advertise it enough trough the normal channels, cause they wanted to sell that crappy Matrix game. All the attention from gamesites went it to this direction while Gothic 2 came into the shelves hardly noticed by other gamers.

but why don't we make a pop up window (or something like that) that tells everybody about Gothic 2?

Well apparently not enough. I had never even heard about it untill I found some very old, crappy review from Gothic 1 and noticed that there was also a Gothic 2. I already couldn't get Gothic 1 anymore so tried G2.

I'm 1,001.

From what I've read, is it not true that the translation to English was already completed? If so, and if Atari simply doesn't think it's cost-effective to go through a release on it, why not simply sell it through an e-store as a downloadable? Setting such up would take one employee less than a day. Minimal overhead, hell, even forget the advertising... but don't deny a product to customers eager to buy it!

Also, please, someone fix that petition text, it's just awful. You do it, I'll do it, just somebody, please do it!

If Atari is going to release the english version then there reason for stoping the add-on would be for profit. After all Atari hasnt really been doin good till now I dont think.

I don't think we have to worry about that. Jowood wasn't very pleased with the way Atari handled things either.
