Forging

Okay, so I want to make the biggest and baddest weapon available in the game. How can I do it using a minimum of LPs?

I already learned the basics of forging, but I'm unsure on how to proceed next. I don't want to waste LP on learning something that isn't going to help me get the best forged weapon...

Also, from what chapter would those skills be available?

ch 5, but you need to be a mercenary, you just read "A book" and you get the skill for free.

That's it? Nothing more? It doesn't even cost LPs?

Heh. That easy, huh? I figured Bennet would be teaching that skill after a while, just wasn't sure what other blades I was supposed to be able to forge before he did.

And yes, I'm a Merc.

You can lear it of bennet but what's the piont? He doesn't teach it until ch5 anyway and you can find good enough blades lying around in the wilderness untill then.
