| "Copy Protection Error"-What to do? |

When i hit enemies this phrase appears and i can't make any damage to them.What causes this 'error' and what can i do to get rid of it?! |

Step 1: Put on some clothes
Step 2: Go to local computer retailer
Step 3: Look for Gothic 2 on shelves
Step 4: Buy a copy of Gothic 2
Problem solved 
Seriously, u're either using a pirated version, or a no-cd crack that game doesn't accept. |

i have this problem ,too!
my verson is download from internet.
i used a software , the name is bittorrent,do you know?
i download this game by 3 days, and setup it very successful.
but i launch this game and attack any one , this words on my screen.
i dont know how i do ?
the game not sell in my country, i havent idea, can you help me ,please?

it can do , why i not can played it ?

We do not support warez and software piracy here.
We do not give advice regarding downloaded = pirated games.
Gothic 2 is not available for download legally, so downloading it somewhere = piracy.
Posting links to warez sites will get you banned.
Propagating the illegal downloading of games will get you banned.
I hope you understand.
If they do not sell the game in your home country, there still might be a foreign trading company willing to send the game to your place.

Actually, this is one thing I was surprised when I was reading the rules thread. Why aren't these anti-piracy rules included in the thread?

Yes, you should buy the game when you have the opportunity. Of course I don´t know if it would be a good idea to import it to China. (Sorry for talking clichès.)
To say it again, we are 100% against piracy. The developers have to earn money to feed their families through sales. If you can´t afford a game then wait till it´s on budget and buy it then.

I meant I´m not sure if the local authorities in China like private imports from a European country.
And who would earn money?
