Click Rope twice and then elevator mechanism?????

Never mind. I found the answer on this board. Look for a stone to open. I must have clicked on that big stone in the wall a hundred times, but the game wanted me to double click.

That's what the game said to do. I click the rope twice. Then I go looking for the elevator mechanism. There is no hot spot for it. I'm standing in front of what looks like a platform with runners that go up and down the wall behind it. There's a lever beside it that is not working. The lever is the only thing I can click on after double clicking the rope. But the rope doesn't do anything with the lever. Where is the mechanism I'm supposed to click with the ropes?

Thanks for your help. I feel like such a klutz with this game.

My darn character kept falling over dead and I was wondering why. Then I realized his health was all gone. I fed him the only potion I had and he'll live for a bit, but I better find more potions. Do characters sleep in this game to replinsh health and mana

So everything's sorted and you're back on your way now?

Good.
