1) If you are saying that US games need MORE Violence and Sex to sale, Kiss my a!!
Most of the games that are full of violence come out of ASIA!
And the last time I checked, EUROPE had my SEX in there entertainment Industry(Movies, Television, Commercials, and LIVE) then the US.
2) If anyone thanks Atari is going to improve anything your crazy, the only thing Atari could do is screw the game up. More likely they propably feel are Europian friends can't possibly make a Quality game, (WHICH is totaly false, most of are games her in the states are more bugged then the US Embassy in Russia, I rthink it is a common practice here to ship Beta versions of games and let the consumer find all the bugs)

Just my worthless 2 1/2 cents

US version will have some voices dialog changed and have some bugs fixed, a newer version all on a new CD. The bug patch will be available for UK, not the voices since it is too big. Atari made a small advertising statement about it, but it could just be more BS from another gamesite news story (not gamespot). I think only the love scene maybe changed to get the kiddie rating. As if kids these days have not watched the stuff on TV or movies is worse.

In the End, I guess the US still gets the better version; better voice acting, with bug fixes. Lest if you do not care about the voices or having to carry a patch around for your game for life. I would like to have the US version if it really is better -even if they cut out the love scene. But I want gratuitious amount of blood, violence, and bad language.

Now if that gets censored; forget it. I will have the UK copy I already have and buy the US version a year and a half from now when it is in the bargain bin. Unfourtantely, if my MODs are going to work, many people will have the US version so I must buy it too, so it will work for that version.

I still think all this improvement stuff is just marketing spin for "it will have the latest patches applied". I doubt that they would actually record new voices knowing that the game would have to go through another QA cycle. I just don't see them getting behind the game that much. BUT, I could be wrong. Maybe they will give it royal treatment and surprise us.

He wasnt talking about that. He was talking about espionage. Audio bugs within the US Embassy located in Russia.

I don't think Atari would want the source code for the game even to fix problems. It would take a group of devs some time to figure out what PB had been doing. More than likely they are working with PB to fix the probs with the English version before putting their ass on the line as a publisher.

That isn't a very nice web page to direct someone to. That popup is very nasty. If I was regulating this board I would ban you.
