| My mage has 200 strength and is a master of 1 handed weapons and is still in the 6th circle of magic with 257 mana. very possible. just need to get around level 38 or something about that. |

simple enogh. see the percentage next to your expertise with a certain type of weapon? that percantage is the chance of critical hit.
i.e. your 2H sword skill is at 50%, so you have a 50% chance of ... |

make sure you have *both* reagents needed for this: black pearl, and a skeletons bone (i think), a blank runestone, and the spell scroll.
