Disabling sound worked - game ran OK. Turns out my sound card did not support hardware acceleration.

I installed a new 3d sound card and now works fine under Direct X9.0b.

broken wave out driver- 'buffer done' flag never set'

Can anyone help with this bug - its mentioned in FAQ with try all levels of DirectX sound acceleration - I've tried all settings and none work. ...
