| Aha! i never figured out that you needed to shoot an arrow at the target in that room with the spikes in it! I just spent around 5 minuts trying to get my stupid but up onto one of those lanterns and ... |

Yes there is a patch out for gothic at the above link, it fixes crashing esp. at game start if you have Win.98, Radeon Geforce/3.
It's called "Patch 1.08k." |
