If Gothic is installed on any drive other than C:, uninstall it and then reinstall it to the default directory on the C: drive. It should work.

Note: C: drive should work, it is possible that one ...

I was having the exact same problem with Gothic on my computer...Trying to open the game...the Gothic logo and loading would appear...and then the screen would flash blank several ti ...
