I think someone screwed up somewhere in my local EB shop. The web says it costs $40, but I only payed $20.

Making your own is better IMHO since you can combine spells, power-up spells to your heart's content (As long as you can live with the price,chances,and mana comsuption.)

Basicly you get a big bonus on all of your stats and some skills and extra quests that you can't take unless your a vamp as your advantage.
Your dissadvantage is that everyone will not talk to you ... |

| If you picked The Atronach. That's you problem. It gives you the ability to absorb Magika from things casted at you, but you can't regenerate with out the asistance of a potion or by absorbing Magika ... |

| Use ShortBlade instead of long so you can backstab. That is if you want Back Stab. Since back stab does x4 I would recommend it though. |

Well most of the interaction is done by: Ctrl + Up Arrow
That works for talking picking up ect.
Some chests also work with: Ctrl + Up arrow
But Most chests (And you need Picklocks to acomplis ... |
