Calm down...you take the blade you got from Harad, and have it consecrated at the monastery. It costs 5000 gold.
Later, in chapter 5, you'll get the Tears of Innos, with which you can consecrate it ... |

You can also just murder Canthar when he's in jail. If you're careful, no one will ever care. Or if the guard does notice, just beat him up and cast oblivion on him, and that's the end of that.  |

| No offense, but...how can you POSSIBLY be this far in the game and not even have at least 2000 gold coins? Try selling some of your most certainly numerous items...either that or start killing monster ... |

Hit C to go to the character stat screen, type MARVIN, then close the stat screen. It should say "MARVIN-MODE ACTIVATED." Hit F2, then type insert itar_pal_h
That should place the paladin armor on ... |
