It opens the house west of the castle entrance in the main city. It's building 8 on the map on this site.

Life Drain should kill any demon in one cast. If your mana is very low, you might need a potion, but most likely not.

Thief/mage here... I very rarely used my weapon, relying mostly on Harm for the easy stuff and fireball/life drain for everything else. I just finished the game a little while ago, and I didn't find ...
