| When in town hit the F1-4 keys to turn down your view distance/fog effect. This saved me much frustration. |

Lesser graphics? I thought Gothic 2 looked a little worse than Gothic 1 and it chugged real hard on my system, which is twice the system I used to run Gothic 1.

I leveled the fire dragon at the gate of Idrorath in four swings. It didn't even have a chance to get a fireball off. This was with the one handed dragon slayer too.
