fight them one at a time. i have this tehniqe: wait till it jumps on you then step back, swing one/two times left-right, then step back and again. if you practice you'll get it right.

you can find 12 by exploring http://www.mondgesaenge.de/MGES/extra.html
the red dots are the sorrels
and goblin berries are easyer to find than dragon roots, cause black goblins might have them.

at this point you propperly not trained in two-handed combat so you have no chance for critical hits ( deals more damage )
and seens bloodhounds are quite strong you'll either need to be more trained ... |
