YES! That is it. My joystick was tilted forward.

Well, the keyboard works just fine in all other applications.
Never had a problem with it. Also, all other buttons work.

No matter how many times I start a new character, the game starts with me in automove, and I can't turn it off. "Q" won't do anything. Actually, it's not just automove--I only go forward. As ...
