You could copy your old saves to another location and then reinstall the game. If it doesn´t work you can still copy them back.

Should I delete everything that has to do with Gothic 2 on my computer and restart my game? Or is there a way to delete what the problem is and continue my game?  |

| Yeah, it did work, but I kept the same save games, but still, after about an hour of in-game playing on a new game, it crashes when you try and load it. |
