Much better seems to be the setting:

zForceZBuffer=1;

The flashing polys in the distant are a result of driver-misinterpreted
depth information while using a w-buffer.
If you use a z Buffer, ...

hi, I worked on the sound system of gothic

the indoor locations (orctempel, the mines)
add an optional reverb effect.

there really was a plan to fully implement the eax specs for every locati ...
